Azobenzene-Based Cross-Linked Small-Molecule Vesicles for Precise Oxidative Damage Treatments Featuring Controlled and Prompt Molecular Release

Precise therapy has become prevalent in clinical practice owing to its accurate and efficient targeting treatment of diseases. Such treatments involving polymersomes as carriers have great potential lesion sites without damage normal tissues. However, due the inherent thick hydrophobic layer polymersomes, an instantaneous release response external stimuli remains a challenge. To tackle this challenge, here, we report on synthesis applications azobenzene-containing photochromic vesicles delivery vectors. These are assembled from small-molecule amphiphiles that been developed provide fast promote molecular size reduction compared with macromolecular polymersomes. After cross-linking, stability under physiological environment is notably enhanced. By varying UV visible light irradiation, “gate” can be opened closed reversibly for controlled capsuled cargoes. In vitro experiments display applied load cysteamine eliminating excess reactive oxygen. The synthesized here show high performance cells both time space. our approach, oxidative cellular biomolecules substantially reduced.
